This is the best band saw blade I have ever used! In my early days of making rocking chairs I tried every band saw blade I could find. I used Swedish silicon steel blades for a good while and thought they were about as good as I was ever going to get - until I tried one of these blades. If someone had told me that a 3/8, 3tpi blade could resaw an eight inch tall headrest better than my 3/4" silicon steel blade I would have thought they were nuts! It is, in fact, quite true! When I saw the way these cut I put a 3/8 blade on my 20" Rockwell band saw (replacing the 3/4" blade) and sold my 14" Jet. Now I use my "big" band saw for the detail work I used to use my Jet for and it still cuts my 8" headrests. All without the necessity of having to change blades! The quality of cut is incredible!

The HD (0.032" Xtra duty) blade provides a better cut in my opinion and is what I prefer to use.
